Mercerised "Halfbleached" 100% cotton thread (GBP per
5000m cone)This 100% mercerised cotton thread is supplied in a "half-bleached" option. It is specifically designed for sewing mercerised cotton garments which are intended to be post-dyed, although it can be used for all sewing operations. It is produced from the highest quality long staple fibre cotton. It is specially treated under tension to facilitate a greater lustre and superior strength. Mercerising ensures this thread will have a higher affinity to dyestuffs making it the ideal choice for sewing
100% cotton garments whether or not they will be post-dyed.
