Rigilene polyester boning was manufactured in the UK. Rigilene was available in 8mm and 12mm widths, in both black and white. Rigilene was also available in 8mm in gold and silver. It was normally packed in either individual 40 metre dispenser boxes or 5 x 40 metre coils poly-shrink wrapped together. Rigilene had multiple uses. Rigilene was used in many applications, as stiffening for bows, corsets, hats & belts, within soft toys, on bags, shoes and purses. it is also used in soft furnishings such as pelmets, tie-backs and blinds. In fact it's use was limited only by your imagination. The gold and silver Rigilene has been designed to be placed on the outside of items as a functional embellishment.
Strict quality control standards ensured that Rigilene wasthe finest quality polyester boning. Unfortunatley it is no longer manufactured.
