This rivet is traditionally used as reinforcing on jeans, however it is now used on many applications where a strong decorative reinforcing is needed. It is normally placed using our KPR1 press below. It is a two part set (nail not shown) and requires two closing dies.

Dome cap rivet set (GBP per pack)

This versatile 9mm cap rivet set is used in many applications where strength and looks are important. 
It is a two part product, consisting of cap & nail. It requires two closing dies and will need to set on a press.
One side will finish with a slightly domed cap, the other flat.
There are two lengths of nail 5mm & 7mm to accommodate varying stock thicknesses.

Double tubular rivets (GBP per 1000 parts)

The number indicates the approximate diameter. C = Cap, CP = Capped post and P = Post. 

A cap (C) and a capped-post (CP) are used for similar appearance on each side of the item. 
A cap (C) and post (P) should be used when the rear view is not required to match the front. 

The following combinations are possible, measurements are to closest mm.  
9C(cap) or 11C(cap) with any of the following; 
9CP(capped post, 9mm pre-set length), 11CP (capped post, 11mm pre-set length), 8P(post, 9mm pre-set length)
or
10P(post, 11mm pre-set length), 9CP(capped post) or
11CP(capped post, 11mm pre-set length) with any of the following; 9C(cap) or  11C(cap). 

These double tubular rivets require two cutting dies and two closing dies.
 They should be placed using our  KPR1  press below.

KPR1
(Foot operated ratchet press) : Available to Purchase or Hire


KPR1 is a foot operated ratchet press. It is supplied complete on a stand which incorporates two side trays for stud part storage.  It is designed to attach most press fasteners, rivets eyelets, jeans buttons etc. It is extremely versatile and can be used for placing piercing trim on textiles or paper and card. We can supply a full range of dies, which are made in the UK of hardened & tempered steel to fit our own ranges or your existing studs or eyelets.

It's fully floating adjustable base allows precision horizontal alignment and exact vertical locking in order to obtain the optimum pressure setting. Once up to speed KPR1 is rated at approx. 240 studs and hour, thus eliminating the need for expensive pneumatic or electric machinery.
